The Picture Show

I can't remember the last movie I watched in the theater, but I think it was about 10 years ago. Movies aren't as good as they used to be. I leave the theater disappointed and thinking of the ways I could have better utilized the cash. 


Other downsides: 

1) I'm a tad anti-social, so sharing a room with a bunch of strangers makes me claustrophobic.

2) The concessions are too expensive.

3) For those of you over 40, do you remember the cartoon before the film—The Blue Racer and The Pink Panther? Today, movie-goers are bombarded with trailers for other productions at eardrum shattering decibels.


Maybe I'm getting old. 

Probably. 

Definitely. Getting old.

Do you watch them in the theater or wait to rent/buy the DVD?
